Any application that is not from the Amazon Store is considered an application of unknown source. Your FireStick has a standard security system that prevents these applications from being installed. Dream TV and other similar streaming apps are not available on the Amazon Store. Therefore, they come from an unknown source.
These applications can only be installed if you follow the steps below and enable the option Applications from unknown sources:
1. Open your FireStick settings from the home screen (main menu above)
2. Scroll to the right and open My Fire TV (you may see Device if your FireStick is not the latest version).
3. Click on Developer Options
4. Tap applications from unknown sources to turn them on or off.

Installing Dream TV on Amazon Fire Stick with bootloader
You can install the Downloader application from the Amazon Store through the search option on the FireStick home screen (top menu bar). In our guide to downloading applications to the FireStick with side-loading, you will also find detailed instructions on how to install the downloader.
Once you have received the application to download, follow the steps below:
1. Open the downloader and click on the URL field on the right side of the screen (make sure the Home tab on the left is selected).
2. Now use the on-screen keyboard to carefully enter the following path: firesticktricks.com/dtv
Press GO when you are finished.
3. Downloader will download the Dream TV APK to your device. It may take a minute or two
4. The installation process will begin once the Dream TV APK is downloaded. The Next button should appear in the lower right corner. Navigate to this button
5. Click the Install button, which you will now see instead of the Next button in the lower right corner.

Installing Dream TV with ES File Explorer
If you have already downloaded and installed Dream TV using the above download method, you do not need to follow the ES File Explorer installation instructions.
First, download ES File Explorer from the Amazon store if you don’t already have it. Go to the top left corner of the FireStick home screen and select the Search option. Now enter the name of the application and follow the on-screen installation instructions.
After you install ES File Explorer, follow these steps to install the Dream TV application on your FireStick:
1) Start the ES File Explorer
2) Scroll to the right side of the window and click on the Loader option.
3) Now press +New at the bottom of the application interface.
4) When the next window appears, type https://www.firesticktricks.com/dtv in the Path field.
You can also enter a name of your choice in the Name field, as I did with DreamTV.
Make sure you enter the URL correctly
Click on download now
5) Wait for the ES File Explorer to connect to the server and download the Dream TV APK to the FireStick. This may take more than a minute.
6) Then click on Open file
7) Click the Set button at the next prompt.
8) ES Explorer starts the APK file and the FireStick starts the installation. Scroll down to the bottom right corner, where you will see the Next option (which will be Install).

To use the Dream TV APK on the FireStick
It’s very simple. Dream TV is an application with a simple and user-friendly interface. You’ll soon get used to it. Especially if you have used applications such as Terrarium TV before, you will feel familiar with it immediately. In fact, Dream TV looks like a clone of Terrarium TV.
To open an application you recently installed, go to your applications and channels. Long press the Home button on the remote and when the following prompt appears, press Apps
Now scroll down the list of applications and select the Dream TV icon. To view the application on the home screen, press the Menu button on the remote control. The menu appears in the lower left corner of the TV screen.
Click the Move button and move the application to one of the top three rows. You can also click the Move to Front button in the context menu to move this application to the first row. This will be the first application on the FireStick’s home screen.
When a new version of the application is released, the following message appears and asks you to install the update. Installation of the new version is not mandatory, but is highly recommended as it includes several new features and bug fixes.
